Meet our Staff

The Reverend Scott Lee
Priest in Charge

Fr. Scott considers himself a passionate learner and teacher. He holds degrees in English Literature, Education and Theology. He has long experience in parish ministry and has also served as a university adjunct professor in Church History and Hebrew Bible. "My greatest delight is in sharing the spiritual journey with adults who are serious about faith development and deepening their relationship with God." He is a teacher of Centering Prayer.

Susan Hovan
Parish Administrator

Sue has been a parishioner of Christ Church for thirty-seven years and the parish administrative assistant for the last twenty-five years. She was born in England and grew up in the Church of England, so her Anglican roots are deep and cherished.  “I especially enjoy reading, knitting, bird watching in my garden and spending time with my grandchildren. My work at Christ Church brings me much joy as do our parishioners who have become friends along the way.”

Dorothy Cameron
Organist and Choir Director

Dottie Cameron has been organist and choir director at Christ Episcopal for 25 years. "My work at Christ Church is a delight because any type of sacred music- from chant to folk and early to modern- is possible as part of the Episcopal service." She also loves nature and revels in the connection to life and God that she feels when outdoors.

The Reverend James Wilson
Resident Priest

The Reverend James G. Wilson has served parishes in Long Island and Connecticut, retiring from full time ministry in 2003 as an executive on the national staff of The Episcopal Church. In that role he did much to facilitate the placement of ordained women in the Episcopal Church. Fr. Jim assists at Christ Church by celebrating the Holy Eucharist several times a month, on Thursdays as well as Sundays, and by assisting in other ways as requested by the Fr. Scott.
